I’m so happy I stumbled across Present Perfect Nursery in Pasadena. Craig and Alvin are genuinely kind, knowledgeable, and always happy to answer questions without making you feel rushed. They even water and clean the plants before wrapping them up and help load everything into your car, which shows how much they care about both the plants and their customers. The nursery is clean, thoughtfully organized, and run with minimal staffing, yet everything operates so smoothly. It actually reminded me of my high school geography class, where we learned how just two people can efficiently manage an entire rice farm in Japan. There’s the same sense of quiet efficiency, pride in the work, and attention to detail. Most of all, Craig and Alvin are honest, genuine people. It’s refreshing to shop somewhere that feels so personal and authentic. I keep coming back.

I recently discovered this garden nursery and couldn’t recommend it more! It’s a family-owned local business with a really great selection of various plants and beautiful pots. Every time I visit, they are friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to answer my questions. They always help load everything into the car which I really appreciate. Highly recommend!!!

The nursery is pretty much in the middle of nowhere in Pasadena. I arrived at around 4:50 p.m., just about when they were closing. Two Latino staff members were very kind and helpful, though they did not speak much English. The place feels more like Descanso Gardens than the Huntington Library. It has a more natural, relaxed atmosphere, with a less formal and more organic layout. The plants feel closer to their natural state, which gives the whole nursery a very pleasant and genuine charm. What really stands out is the price. It already looks cheaper than Armstrong, and possibly even negotiable, but the quality does not feel worse at all. The plants look healthy, beautiful, and well cared for, so it feels like a better-value choice rather than a lower-quality one. They have mostly green plants, with only a small selection of flowering plants, but everything looks great. For plants, especially shrubs, many varieties come in different sizes at different price points, so you can choose based on your needs and budget.

Most nurseries are great and this one definitely stands out with their warm and friendly staff and excellent variety. I’ve been coming here for years and appreciate their friendly and helpful team, helping us find the right plants, especially plumerias. Their prices are very reasonable and their service is excellent. Offered quick and easy delivery when the tree I wanted didn’t fit my car. Then they walked my property and recommended ideal places for the specific plumeria I bought. Their plants have done very well, weathered the environments well. A great small business and family friendly. I always look for vibrant, unique color plumerias and these ones are my favorite. Each has a distinct smell and color. The pink one is a bright and sweet smell, leaning floral. The rainbow one has a creamy sweet smell, almost reminds me of desert.

I went this morning to buy a star jasmine vine and two privets to plant. Craig was very helpful and even stop by to deliver locally in Pasadena! Keep it Family owned!
